Situated on a hill, near Cimini Mounts, it offer some splendid panoramic vue . Beautiful  the medieval village, therefore wonderfully conserved: walking the narrow alleys you can be acctracted in the same atmosphere, encircles from noble palaces and characteristic angles to you. Lived from the Etruschi and the Roman it endured, like other countries, multiple invasions and pillages, favorites from the vicinity with Cassia street. Thank's to gentleman Of Vico for the construction of Castle , in which the Giacomo son came and then captured for being beheaded to Soriano, and his  sarcofago is still  conserved in the church of San Francesco. During the history of property of Vetralla was for some years subjected to the Apostolic Room, but it had with the Papal State some controversies. It never agreed the Apostolic room, in fact, to accept the outlandish demands for some presides that boasted the right of the "Ius Primae Noctis", a strange law that would have concurred they to pass the first night of wedding with the young spouses. It was therefore that, during the vespri of 1493, the high promotore preside of the law came killed from the citizens of Vetralla. The numerous discoveries in its immediate vicinities make to think that the ancient Vetralla was in origin a villanoviano Pagus.  Fossa tumbs going back to VIII and VII sec. B. C. have been in fact recovered to Cerracchio and Poggio Mounts. The same localities accommodate moreover  Etruscan tumbs to room and trap. In the Etruscan period Vetralla it was one of the many takeovers scattered in the zone. In its immediate vicinities, beyond to Norchia, we find traces of takeovers in locality Porcina Cove (VII century to C.), Panese Mount and Caiano Mount.
